Have even read that Aleister Crowley suggested it to the RAF & such as a symbolic counter to the swastika - as in that sort of Western Ceremonial Magick tradition - it is analogous to holding arms above you in a V, representing Resurrection - which follows a position analogous to the Cross or Swastika (a Cross in Motion) - & thus would supersede it... 	11:54am Revolution Rabbit Nov63: Well two fingers of course was 'V for Victory' before the Peace Sign - as per Churchill. Have even read that Aleister Crowley suggested it to the RAF & such as a symbolic counter to the swastika - as in that sort of Western Ceremonial Magick tradition - it is analogous to holding arms above you in a V, representing Resurrection - which follows a position analogous to the Cross or Swastika (a Cross in Motion) - & thus would supersede it... So I reckon the transition to it meaning 'Peace' as counter to Fascism could well follow...
