I'm so impressed with the art deco Men Of Letters bunker on Supernatural. and I wanted to find what building it was and visit it to get ideas that would be similar but cheaper to use as a goal for our new home. I found out it's all sets! That beautiful bunker isn't real!!! Such a trip.

We aren't going to be paying off our house for a couple months, then it's the time we start planning. I want to jump on things fast, but my husband is a hoarder and it's taken a couple decades for him to work with me on this. I'm only in the homework stages. Man I forget which producer and set designer and producer he is that gets the full credit for the bunker, but wow. he's an award winning guy and I can see why. I watch seasons of Gotham and Supernatural (just the seasons with the bunker) because the behind the scenes people on those shows inspire me. The way Gotham incorporates the 60's batman colors but darkens them. and how they use old and new together. just so perfect.

We aren't going to be paying off our house for a couple months, then it's the time we start planning. I want to jump on things fast, but my husband is a hoarder and it's taken a couple decades for him to work with me on this. I'm only in the homework stages. Man I forget which producer and set designer and producer he is that gets the full credit for the bunker, but wow. he's an award winning guy and I can see why. I watch seasons of Gotham and Supernatural (just the seasons with the bunker) because the behind the scenes people on those shows inspire me. The way Gotham incorporates the 60's batman colors but darkens them. and how they use old and new together. just so perfect.
