Those new probiotic hipster sodas are so enticing but so expensive. I avoid the ones like Poppi since they have stevia and I’m not a fan of stevia. Maybe I’ll try Sunsip someday, that one does *not* hand stevia (but probably only if I find an abandoned briefcase full of criminal proceeds in the woods).

Also Mark Hurst’s Techtonic earlier this evening unexpectedly covered some alarming studies re: consuming something sweet without the calories of sugar. Apparently the body doesn’t like that, and chaos ensues.

Water absolutely is the best. No argument. I had a science teacher once, way back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, who referred to water as ‘the universal solvent’. Always stuck with me. Made my older brother laugh.

Chlorination ruins water flavor. I run all my potable water thru a Brita. Takes the chlorine off notes out.

well my last 3 residences (back to 2002) were all well water, and i didn't trust any of them. the most recent tasted okay, but when evaporated left at least 1 teaspoon/glass of greyish-white powder (looked like heroin)
and one of the others smelled like the aroma they add to natural gas.

Wow. Not good. When we had to switch to municipal, twenty years ago, it was disappointing. I have neighbours that pay a water bill but still use their well. The town is growing at a ridiculous rate so I’m sure it won’t last.

check out a few of Daniel Blumin's programs. hois shows are always excellent, but not always the same "formula"....if you can call it a formula.
Jack's programs are usually pretty much along these lines, but not always quite...sometimes more "noisey", sometimes more jazzy. he's got archives -used to be on the weekly schedule.
