The outro has that special awkwardness of a white tv host introducing a black jazz musician… in 1953.

I just want to know who "Weird and Gilly" are and I was hoping "Gelly" might take me in a direction to help identify "Weird."

"I would like to make a recommendation and a request. I recommend Goldmine to check out a new book titled The Spider With The Platinum Hair , just released in the U.K. by the Independent Music Express. It is a fine story of one my favorite guitarists of all time, the multi-talented Mick Ronson. Not only does the book tell a fine musical story of Ronson's career, but it dives into some of his personal background I was never aware of. Written by Weird And Gilly (their real names?), it would be nice to see U.S. distribution."
Maybe there's a clue?
