I had the flu, but said fuck it and went anyway. It was at Al's Bar in L.A. I swear to god when the show was over I felt great. The second time I saw The Lyres was at Maxwell's in Hoboken. I had to walk through the snow to get there - a first for me, and a last. I HATE snow! The band that opened for them was Green River, who became Pearl Jam.

I had to walk through the snow to get there - a first for me, and a last. I HATE snow! The band that opened for them was Green River, who became Pearl Jam.
