I had an FIV kitty, Jackson 5, he was an absolute delight! I think of him every day. We don't know his age, but he left us gracefully, no day would have been enough, but still so glad to have had him. And confirmation, our other 3 cats who were fixed as well didn't contract from him. so I can endorse Katherine, take those sweet wonderful strays who might be FIV+, they could give you memorable years.
