Not much to say about tonite's building. However the neighborhood is quite storied, and the building on the corner lot to the left beckons to us from this wistful 1940s photo -- 1940s.nyc... -- the church in the background is still there, of course

Looks a bit like Datsun 120Y, but I don't see an image of one elsewhere with the side signals/reflectors. Ordinarily I wouldn't know a Datsun 120Y if I found one in my breakfast bowl, but I just thought I'd poke around auto family trees.

i haven't looked at dodge/plymouth colts.
that tail end is pretty ugly - like when american car makers were trying to catch up in the small car market (thank you shithead ronald reagan for blowing the concept of being responsible in our car choices all to hell) -and just chopping off part of the car to make it shorter!

It is odd, ungainly and right and desirable all at once.
My mom briefly had a black and aqua-ish Rambler wagon of the same period, but I don't think it had the panache and gravity of that tan heartbreaker.

i think amc got caught in the sudden frenzy to make cars lower and sleeker. maybe they had the blueprint for the sedan already and were sticking with this (1960, also) external-content.duckduckgo.com... for the wagon...and realized that would die a painful death, so they stuck a bed and roof onto the back of the sedan.
that's my guess!
