	12:07pm Miss Mei: To those unaware, S. S. Kresge was the founder of K-Mart. S. S. Kresge opened in 1899, the company became K-Mart Corporation in 1977. However, the first store with the K-Mart name opened in 1962, and the last S. S. Kresge store closed in 1987.
