Dylan was on fire, and delivered a blistering performance with the Hawks behind him—ripping show. The audience, stuck in the folk era couldn’t even give the new electric band a chance. They revolted. Their loss! IMHO it is some of the finest music I’ve ever heard, to this day. And, had Dylan not gone electric he would have remained stuck in the stodgy, staid, folk groove. I’m so glad he changed it up.

It strikes me as a way of grappling with music that's part of her birthright as a musical iconoclast, faithful through transgression in a way that echoes the original. When an artist of her caliber goes back to the well, why wouldn't I follow? Also, it rocks.

It is ultra clear disks with yellow, green, and orange neon splatters. My disk 2 is almost completely clear with a few specs of neon here and there. I feel this was falsely advertised. It's still a great compilation, but calling it "neon blotter SWIRL" is pretty far from what I actually received. Oh well, hopefully this comment will save others from some disappointment"

Dylan was on fire, and delivered a blistering performance with the Hawks behind him—ripping show. The audience, stuck in the folk era couldn’t even give the new electric band a chance. They revolted. Their loss! IMHO it is some of the finest music I’ve ever heard, to this day. And, had Dylan not gone electric he would have remained stuck in the stodgy, staid, folk groove. I’m so glad he changed it up.

It strikes me as a way of grappling with music that's part of her birthright as a musical iconoclast, faithful through transgression in a way that echoes the original. When an artist of her caliber goes back to the well, why wouldn't I follow? Also, it rocks.

And this allows me to share my favorite Discogs comment of all time: "Not sure where they get off calling this a swirl color vinyl. It is ultra clear disks with yellow, green, and orange neon splatters. My disk 2 is almost completely clear with a few specs of neon here and there. I feel this was falsely advertised. It's still a great compilation, but calling it "neon blotter SWIRL" is pretty far from what I actually received. Oh well, hopefully this comment will save others from some disappointment"
