The SNL/Bร–C skit is funny, them making Bruce Dickinson the 'producer' of Reaper. I imagine one of them had the Best of CD, which was produced by Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickenson. I feel bad for Sandy Pearlman (or his family), but I guess he was amusded by it all.

I'm a total rock nerd and it sorta rankled my sensibilities, although I thought the skit was very funny, even though it had Jimmy Fallon in it. Once you notice the cowbell (sleighbells, monkey sounds) it's hard to ignore it.

Whatever entertainment value there is from seeing someone on that show break gets taken away when you do it all the time (like Homer saying all those little things on the antenna that let you know where your car is, those should be on all the cars). I think of Heidi Gardner cracking a season or two ago over those Beavis and Butthead costumes, articles were written about it because she never does that.
