My Mom, may she rest in peace, LOVED guava paste. As she was in a Dominican part of the BX, the local stores had it canned way before Goya showed up on the scene. As a kid she had it with cream cheese on bread.

Ages ago when I went to Norway to visit long-lost cousins of my Dad, I lost weight just from keeping warm. The house was kept at around 50F, at night down to 40, and it was 20 below outside. I ate huge breakfasts and still lost weight.

Ages ago when I went to Norway to visit long-lost cousins of my Dad, I lost weight just from keeping warm. The house was kept at around 50F, at night down to 40, and it was 20 below outside. I ate huge breakfasts and still lost weight.
