	11:14am coelacanth∅: i've hung out with a local mayor here many times, at a wine bar and a cafe. his kids used to ask him if i was one of the beatles! and the previous mayor had a neglected garden plot next to mine. i was at parties at his house where underage people drank from the keg. i didn't like him, but thought he was a good mayor, so i donated services to him, within my then current profession. he actually became national news for illegally presiding over gay marriages.

	11:19am WR: A friend of mine, African American, in San Antonio, came out of a store and was surprised to find the sidewalk jam full of people. He didn't keep up with local news much and had no idea why the crowd was there, a parade for something or another. He was looking around to see if he could find a way to make his way down the sidewalk. A couple of men in suits came to him and asked him to come with them. He was wondering if he was being arrested or what and what for or if they saw he was trying to get out of the crowd or whatever. To his surprise and displeasure they were guiding him into the crowd and seconds later he was shaking hands with Ronald Reagon. 	11:19am Gerry from Miami: PJ, my friend and I followed the X band around Los Angeles to accompany them on a promotional tour for their newest album at the time, "Under the Big Black Sun."(1982). We hit five record stores in the MUSIC PLUS chain that day.They noticed we were at each stop and engaged us in conversation as they signed autographs. Extremely nice folks. Still love their music today. By the way, my friend and I got put on the guest list for the band's next LA gig. Nice experience.

	11:19am WR: A friend of mine, African American, in San Antonio, came out of a store and was surprised to find the sidewalk jam full of people. He didn't keep up with local news much and had no idea why the crowd was there, a parade for something or another. He was looking around to see if he could find a way to make his way down the sidewalk. A couple of men in suits came to him and asked him to come with them. He was wondering if he was being arrested or what and what for or if they saw he was trying to get out of the crowd or whatever. To his surprise and displeasure they were guiding him into the crowd and seconds later he was shaking hands with Ronald Reagon. He was one of the few Black folks in the crowd and we guessed that it was a contrived moment so they could get footage / photo of Reagan shaking hands with a Black in Texas...
	11:19am Gerry from Miami: PJ, my friend and I followed the X band around Los Angeles to accompany them on a promotional tour for their newest album at the time, "Under the Big Black Sun."(1982). We hit five record stores in the MUSIC PLUS chain that day.They noticed we were at each stop and engaged us in conversation as they signed autographs. Extremely nice folks. Still love their music today. By the way, my friend and I got put on the guest list for the band's next LA gig. Nice experience.
