No, but watching 1K years of Solitude based on Marquez’s novel. It’s ok, but nothing beats a book. Books anyway are usually the solitary gem in my opinion. Except The Shining by Kubrick- that is superior

I don't watch too many series because I prefer reading too. My wife just started as a jury member of one of the 3 big literature prizes. So we're getting all these big boxes full of Dutch books delivered by mail.

It’s presented as a series on Netflix. It’s dubbed. Not certain, but it may be appropriately from Colombia. I agree and am leery of film treatments. Often it’ feels like an invasion and invalidation of personal imagination. The series has it’s charm and gratefully tries to understate for the sake of the fantastical elements, but ain’t no way any filmic treatment can be suoerior to his novel.
