Roc RaIda's Gong DJ battle |
Roc Raida's "Gong" DJ battle at SOB's in NYC last Weds (4/5) |
2006 |
DJ I-DeeThis is winning DJ routine followed by Lord Finese on da mic. It was recorded last Weds at the brand new DJ battle that Roc Raida kicked off in NYC at S.O.B.s in Manhattan.Step aside DMC, ITF etc..here's ..the GONG battle....real hardcore style and yes there was a big ass gong there) DJ battle...with with a shit load of famous DJs as judges including DJ Spinbad, DJ Scratch, Cash Money, & Rob Swift . "I-Dee is down with the Trooperz and represents for DC even though I think he's living in Miami right now - maybe for school? Complex was the runner up." reports the hip-hop DJ's biggest supporter Christie Z of Tools of War. If there is a cool hip-hop event in NYC you can be sure Christie Z is somehow involved (inc "Hip-Hop Unbound" at NYU). Not surprisingly then she will unveil her own DJ battle this summer. |
