It's 2:40 and we're drinking beer! X-Ray Burns curates, presenting "Beers That Lost WWII"; yes, it's the brews of the Axis Powers!

Germany:
Hacker-Pschorr Weisse (XRay's staple)
Franziskaner Dunkel Weisse (for the fans of a darker brew) Paulaner Original Munich Lager (a simple brew)

Italy:
Peroni Nastro Azzurro (a mediocre beer but a pleasant alternative to wine)

Japan:
Sapporo (a crisp brew not unlike the Paulaner Lager but presumably having a higher level of radioactivity)

Heavy Winged is excellent. First time I've heard them, but I like them. Are they signed to a label?
  2:11pm

Sean: I think they have released a couple of LPs, 7" and CDRs on various labels, check their myspace for info. I think they are planning on doing a short East Coast tour in Nov starting on Nov 2 in Brooklyn.
