BWAH! So I'm the North Bergen office now?!? I can't possibly answer any questions -- my brain has lesions from a harrowing job interview I experienced today. Fortunately that shoegazey track partially healed me.

Kyle:
where can i find that ONNA album?
11:19pm
slugluv1313:
hey Pseu,
TOTALLY agree with you about the "shoegaze" (as much as i luv ya, Ike -- and i hope yer poor battered brain is healing just fine and groovy) . . . i have read/seen The Velvet Underground cited as an example of "shoegaze" -- !!! . . . seriously -- not only do the Velvets also pre-date the term "shoegaze" by who knows *how* many years, but whoever categorized them as such must have never ever EVER *really* listened to "Heroin" or "Venus in Furs" or "I Heard Her Call My Name" or "Sister Ray" or "Waiting For My Man" etc. etc. etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8:32pm
Ike:
So, the term "shoegaze" can't be retroactively applied when appropriate? I should've said that I love that "white-noisy guitar squall," or some such, perhaps, but that's less efficient, isn't it?
