I became so disoriented that I phoned up “College Pizza” and ordered a cheese steak sub and a can of ginger ale. The kid who now lives in my old apartment, whoever his is, surely is still wondering who was the wise guy who sent him the food.

Unable to slide through the door crack, the vomit leapt back into my body so that the nightmarishly bland and tasteless music would at least be muffled by my stomach lining and intestines.
