  12:06pm
Carmichael:

Good morning Scott and fellow audiophiles. I think the 8 track is stuck between channels.
  12:08pm

  12:14pm
Oneida:

You know that New York State law about car alarms not being allowed to run more than 15 minutes?

SCREW THAT, MAN
  12:15pm
dc pat:

15 minutes? is that true? should be 15 seconds...
  12:15pm
Parq:

Digging this Goat Lips. Welcome back, Freiw. Yeah, Barca's a tough place to leave.
  12:16pm
stingy d:

i'm around... no more day job/desk job. so it keeps me off the internet and the streets. causin trouble
  12:17pm
Parq:

Then again, Ken had to leave Barca, then leave Paris, *then* touch down on Monty Place. Now that's harsh.
  12:17pm
stingy d:

IN IN

  12:18pm
AnAnonymousPary:

What a great ring tone this would make.
  12:19pm
Nat:

ZAPPA IS THE GREATEST MUSICIAN WHO EVER LIVED.
  12:19pm
Bad Ronald:

Hey, Kenny G played a live version of this Mothers tune yesterday!
  12:21pm
Scott:

Oh, stop that Nat. Tho I do love to hear from you - how'd your Ken fillin go last week?
  12:22pm
Uncle Meat:

  12:25pm
Marshall Stacks:

  12:32pm
Nat:

Oh. Today's thursday. Not friday. Damn, get it together, Nat. I mean the next one after that, the 12th.

I'm very stingy about you, Scott.
  12:34pm
Scott:

Cool, next Friday prolly - email me.
  12:44pm
Carmichael:

This sounds faintly Devo-ish.
  12:44pm
stingy d:

  12:47pm
Nat:

Cool. I'll try to drag ol' Jared along as well.
  12:49pm
Parq:

Barca clearly inspired you, Scott. That was an oustanding first set.
  12:53pm
PMD:

I had a German sausage taken from me once.
You'll learn to not declare someday. ... 'Oh, I forgot it'
  12:54pm

I work with an Iranian guy who forgot to declare a set of steak knives. Imagine his surprise...
  1:06pm
Scott:

PMD, that was exactly my initial plan - even better b/c my wife left 3 days b4 me, so I was gonna be all "ohhh, I thought my wife brought all the gifts back , whoops!" Well, I learned my lesson. If anyone's interested to know, the sausage sniffing dog is actually an adorable little terrier. Not that he was needed, I willingly surrendered my sausage, didn't wanna make a fuss
  1:09pm
J-Mar:

well, at least you didn't have any weed stashed inside the sausage...
  1:10pm
Cecile:

what kind of terrier, Scott?
They often use beagles for food contraband searches in airports.
  1:12pm
PMD:

One time they were inspecting my bags and a lady agent said she needed to pat down my legs. The guy agent looks down and says, no that's just her calves. Which they were. I got cow calves.
  1:12pm
dc pat:

..or sausages stashed in your weed...
  1:14pm
stingy d:

  1:26pm
Cecile:

  1:38pm
maria L:

Hey welcome back Scott!!
  1:38pm
Carmichael:

Good Lord, it's Annisette. And, although I enjoyed nearly all of Primivera, I found Ponytail to be unlistenable. My favorite was Dead Meadow.
  1:41pm
dale:

excellent set! this murk and despair is making me hungry for the Birthday Party.
  1:46pm
Parq:

Sunn O))) was really cool, altho I understand that they're incredibly loud, so I don't know that I got the full effect on a Bose tabletop. I didn't really care for Ponytail either, but I'll give them points for trying.
  1:48pm
Carmichael:

Thanks to Uncle Meat, I am going to lunch where they serve BBQ Pork dumplings.
  1:49pm
BSI:

FOR THE LOVE OF GAWD, DON'T GO IN THE SHED!
  1:49pm
Bose:

Just crank me.
  1:49pm
Marshall Stacks:

def. Shed: tiny small house.
  1:49pm
Ike:

Welcome to Scott's tiny small house of sound! It's a lovely, murky place. Just open that door.
  1:50pm
Parq:

The entire nation of Belgium came to your house??
  1:50pm
holland oats:

anyone w scott's address and a van please email me asap
  1:51pm
dc pat:

typical Belgians..don't know what a shed is..sheesh..all they can do is make beer...
  1:51pm
Wife, neighbors etc.:

Bose? Um, no.
  1:52pm
Art Smass:

"Shed" means something different in Phlegmish.
  1:53pm
Bismarck:

The less the people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they sleep at night.
  1:54pm
Bose:

Partypoopers. {huff}

See this "Born to Crank" tatt on my ass?
  1:56pm
Ike:

Woody is doing another fill-in on Monday eh? All right! I look forward to that.
  2:01pm
BSI:

...anybody ever witness your dog dreaming with eyes open?
  2:02pm
Parq:

That's it -- I'm changing the name of my autobiography to "See this 'Born to Crank' tatt on my ass?"

Scott, great slide show. This NJ expat just loved the "Home again, Central Jersey" shot.
  2:07pm
Bad Ronald:

Sweet Neil Young tune!

Yeah BSI, and they get all twitchy.

btw - This vid is pretty cool:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbgFKB7u4n8
  2:10pm
Cecile:

Parq, I think the title of your autobiography should be called "The Man Who Changed The Title of His Autobiography Every Five Minutes."

;D
  2:11pm
doug from dc:

So David Carradine snatched the pebble. "Found dead in a Bangkok hotel room," now there's an obit for you.
  2:25pm
dc pat:

I'll just bet Grasshopper had a "pre-existing heart condition."
  2:26pm
boo:

he had a pre-existing rope around the neck condition
  2:29pm
Parq:

Master: You must never venture to the city of Bangkok, Grasshopper, for doom is written on the brow of the dark stranger who emerges from that dark place.

Kwai Chang: Uh-huh. Listen, could we hurry this up, I got tickets to a David Crosby concert tonight.
  2:31pm
doug from dc:

The master musicians have loads of talent.
  2:32pm
Bad Ronald:

Master Musicians of Bukkake is one of the best band names I've heard in a while.
  2:32pm
Art Smass:

He'll be attending the Michael Hutchence show instead.
  2:33pm
Marshall Stacks:

Good one, doug from dc.
  2:34pm
Hatch:

"Found naked and dead in a Bangkok hotel room," even better.

But seriously... the guy was in Q: The Winged Serpent! Show some respect!!!
  2:35pm
doug from dc:

It sounds kind of suspicious. I'd be more inclined to believe it was suicide if the rope was just around his neck, but the article says "neck and body." Foul play?
  2:37pm
dc pat:

hey, I just found out that Jimi Hendrix was killed by his manager...
  2:37pm
doug from dc:

Or autoerotic asphyxiation?
  2:38pm
Bernie Taupin:

All the papers had to say
Was that Carradine was found
In the nude
  2:40pm
Tim Rice:

One night in Bangkok
Left an old man strangled
  2:40pm
John Cale:

Kevin Ayers screwed y wife, did it quick and split!
  2:41pm
Phil Spector:

HA!!!!! can't blame me, neener neener
  2:42pm
BSI:

BadRonald: thanks. I thought I was going insane. Or at least hallucinating my ass off while my dog was having an Eraserhead-worthy siezure. Very weird.
  2:42pm
