  3:09am
Sue:

hey Joe! good morning to my favorite dj!
  3:10am
Joe:

Good mornin', Sue! How is my loyalest most faithfullest listener?
  3:17am
Sue:

pretty good. a little tired i guess. how are you doing this evening? or morning
  3:20am
Joe:

Feelin' pretty good, but a little tired, too. I'm sure I'll perk up soon!
  3:24am
Sue:

I'll keep you company! I wimped out on you last week but I'll make up for it tonight :)
  3:26am
Joe:

Cool! Thanks, Sue! Not too interested in having a Sunday this week? ;)
  3:28am
Sue:

hmm, i might have to sneak in a power nap during the day i guess. and sunday's supposed to be all rainy anyway. i won't be missing much. i have monday off from work for the ol' holiday too so i get an extra day this weekend
  3:35am
Joe:

Congrats on having Monday off--thanks, MLK. Sunday's rainy? Wow, I think I'll get a nice sleep, too!!
  3:45am
(mta) Tony:

Hey, I'm here, too, y'all. Prof. Dum Dum ignored me completely during his show. He always does. But Joe doesn't and he seems to starting his single file early this week. Sue, I know you've got dibs, but you won't be the only person keeping Joe company this MORNING here in New York. I'm a block from MLK Blvd. and you can believe there'll be action in da hood tomorrow (Monday).
  3:47am
Joe:

Welcome, MTA Tony! I promise not to ignore you!
  3:50am
Sue:

nice, i used to live on MLK in newark actually. and actually near another MLK in the bronx a long time ago. and i don't mind sharing.
  4:00am
(mta) Tony:

That's amazing, Sue. Thanks, you're sweet.
  4:03am
Joe:

She really IS sweet! Although this week, it's Sweet Sue, (not) just you!
  4:32am
jim paterson:

  4:34am
Joe:

  4:59am
Ike:

Did somebody say Newark? I'm here! Not near MLK Blvd. though.
  5:00am
(mta) Tony:

Jaime Brockett's i and m are reversed Joe. Let's try to get the spelling right! Always love your shows especially your single file. What word gets edited out of the Judge Dread song? Is that your bleep or on the record?
  5:07am
nick garofalo:

good show mr.DJ. Sleep well..just waking here in Italy....
  5:08am
(mta) Tony:

Actually, I think it's "You're THE First, THE Last, My Everything." Thanks for answering my bleep question. I'll have to listen to that track again to catch the song. OH, the Purling Hiss is outstanding!!!
  5:09am
Joe:

Thanks for keeping me honest, Tony. I'll go back and fix these errors. This is, I'm afraid, fairly typical for me at this hour, so I usually go back later and clean up the playlist. It'll be sparkling by the end of Sunday, I swear.
  5:15am
(mta) Tony:

Just read a report that said the original title was "You're MY First, THE Last, My Everything," so I really don't know for sure anymore. I'd say you'd be right to go by what's written on the record. Just ignore me, too. I deserve it. Love the Hiss!
  5:17am
Joe:

Thanks, Tony, always love it when listeners dig deep. Howdy to Nick in Italy and Ike in Newark!
  5:55am
Sue:

still here... thanks for the tunes, joe!!
  5:57am
Joe:

Wow, Sue, you're amazing! Glad you enjoyed the show...I'm on my way out of here, so thanks everybody for commenting.
  5:58am
Sue:

Happy MLK Day to everyone!! :)

  6:50am
Joe:

  6:53am
Rebecca in Hoboken:

Uh, oh! I was just going to turn your accuplaylist off as I linked your show. I see Dan's not in. I can link with it on.
  6:54am
Rebecca in Hoboken:

It's going to have to be edited next week if you want the whole archive. The first three hours have uploaded all ready.
  6:56am
Joe:

Hey, Becky! Yeah, let's do that next week, if it's not a problem.
  6:58am
Rebecca in Hoboken:

Liz does the editing, but she will do it if you want. Your first three hours are archived. I'm going back to sleep.
  1:20pm
Mike Sin:

Gentleman Joe beats me again -- I've never purchased nor seen a Ravi Shankar 45! I am familiar with the LP from which that song was pulled, though --"Transmigration Macabre" was the soundtrack to some freaky British film that I've never seen, but this LP contains Shankar's most "Western-styled" psychedelic pieces out there. It's a great complement to his nephew's (Ananda Shankar) self-titled LP from 1970.
