  11:16am
hip:

Everywhere's nice as far as u enjoy it!
Me, here south of Spain (north to Africa), and would tele-transport to almost any country now, at least for a while. ;-)
  11:23am
ifny:

i'm still savouring the novelty of listening to the live stream in the same time zone. mmmm. and again, mmmm. good tunes by the way, good for the eyelids.
  11:27am
gumby:

New Jersey in Winter = HELL!!!!!!
  11:31am
ifny:

you've obviously never been to winnipeg O.o
  11:31am
Mike from MP:

Going shopping with my wife and 10yo daughter. Can I take this show with me...
  11:33am
hip:

loved the dogs point of view!!!
BTW, hell is in the way to heaven... and way better than heaven very often too. ;-)
(feel talkative today)
:-)
  11:35am
ringo the dog:

I resent that song. Woof
  11:37am
gumby:

ifny, no,
All's I know is hell is cold and snowy. We were just reminiscing about Las Vegas in August 110 degrees f, AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
  11:47am
Michael:

  11:48am
ifny:

@gumby hehe well i'm also enjoying the novelty of snow in winter, so perhaps i'm a poor candidate for commiseration. i usually spend my winters cycling in the pouring rain...i did my time as a kid though, i remember if it dropped below -40 degrees, school attendance wasn't mandatory. we always had a few weeks off school guaranteed every year. (that's -40 in both farenheit and celsius btw, they're about the same at that point).
  11:49am
BigJay:

You should see the Jacko fans in the hallway and courtroom this week in LA for the case against his doctor. Strange.
  11:50am
Sigurdur:

Listening in from Iceland now. in acouple of days ill be listening from sweden., thanks for all tge good karma. Peace
  11:53am
gumby:

ifny
that's exactly why NJ = hell, snow on the ground for 12 days, no golf ball hittin' andd no cycling, only outdoor exercise is walking at the edge of snow strewn roads and fearing for your life from gettin' clipped by passing cards.
  11:53am
ringo the dog:

Great, so now what'm I gonna do about my glaucoma?? Woof
  11:55am
gumby:

Normal Majority got it all down here, like I tell the ol' battle axe, "all work is women's work"
  11:57am
mark:

"I married you cause the house was dirty" - now that's a great lyric.
  11:57am
ifny:

if one can bike the iditarod in winter, surely one can ride the mean streets of nyc? just takes a bit of prep. and maybe a few ninja skills...
  12:00pm
Peter:

I suspect the fact that Michael was the source of their income, past, present and future (hey - maybe'll he'll want to do another Victory tour), tended to suppress the urge to tell him to see a shrink.

After all, they needed the eggs.
  12:03pm
Michael:

Exactly - that is as low as a human being can get - letting another human being die because of greed
  12:05pm
JohnEBGood:

There's a Tower in the Heart of London!
Happy New Year to my FMU family.
  12:05pm
gumby:

Seems to me perspective was not a Jackson family strength.
  12:05pm
hip:

Buzzc...
Great listening! Ever!
la la la!
  12:13pm
ringo the dog:

Let It Beagle. Woof
  12:16pm
glenn:

sounds a bit like john otway.
  12:17pm
Detroit Mac:

How about #1 hits that were used in Movie Soundtracks?
  12:17pm
glenn:

cult hero, that is.
  12:23pm
Jim B:

Always like it when the stuff that Evan Davis and his friends played on WNYU in the eighties gets resurrected on FMU and remember being amazed at the time how there could be two sources of good music with so little overlap.
  12:27pm
Jim B:

Mardi Gras is March 8 this year.
  12:30pm
Connie T. Empress:

Not Ot-way on Cult Hero. It was their postman who they met in a pub and asked him over to record the track. Beats the DD card I gave my post carrier!
  12:33pm
glenn:

i didn't say it was otway, i said it sounded like him. great song, no matter what.
  12:42pm
paul:

How about a compilation of your most requested songs as a premium....and of course Bigfoot vs The Commissioner.
  12:42pm
glenn:

since the shows are available to listen to through archives, maybe your c.d. should have stuff you've never played.
  12:43pm
paul:

Or a compilation of cover versions like this one. Glenn, I was just about to say that!
  12:45pm
paul:

Bonus disc....stuff you had to cut from interviews from various reasons, coupled with songs by the same artists.
  12:47pm
Peter:

Jones was Marc Bolan's wife. She was at the wheel when their car crashed in London and killed him.
  12:47pm
glenn:

great minds, and all that.
  12:50pm
paul:

How about a t-shirt with the label image of Bigfoot vs The Commissioner on the front and the "lyrics" printed on the back.
Best song ever played on wfmu.
  12:50pm
steve:

I like the idea of ska covers of pop hits! I think the idea of edited songs could use a rest...
  12:52pm
Jim B:

Mardi Gras officially started after Twelfth Night, so we've got two months of denial of winter.
  12:52pm
Peter:

Give it up, Bigfoot!
  12:54pm
glenn:

how about a disc of the original, less famous versions of hits - black magic woman, tiptoe through the tulips, etc.
  12:55pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

Jim B, not to get all (times)-picayune, but Mardi Gras is only one day, dear. What we're in now is CARNIVAL! Woo hoo!
  12:55pm
glenn:

cheesy wendy!!! hola.
  12:58pm
marc:

I always walk around shop rite with a VENTI starbucks cup of coffee.
