	3:57am splurge: there are also some especially amazing surrealist automatic writing type things happening in tutuola's ' my life in the bush of ghosts', not to overwhelm your platter :-)
	3:58am sustain: i remember when autotune came out: it was totally one of the only types of music that totally had to be happening THEN.. it was like 'NOW': i was really excited about it!

	5:03am greysoul: Heavens, no. Just wanted to add a Vaudeville sort of accent to Mr. DJ's typically-witty lisp remark. As a young lad, I was taken with a 60 Minutes interview with the original staff of Mad Magazine. They had a small drum kit RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OFFICE and every time someone said something funny, whoever was handy would hit the cymbal. "That," I told myself back then, "is how all adults should live."
	5:22am pontificate: Okay maybe we should add a MIDI cymbal feature to JJ's program & live like true adults?! Too bad I missed that MAD episode from my childhood: it's now copyrighted footage.

By 1987, the voices in my head were much more entertaining than anything on television. Plus, the Mad crew were much more manic in my memory. Don't show me any more. I'm not even going to begin to discuss my early National Lampoon daydreams.
