  11:13am
mrmucho:

didn't John Lydon say they fired Glen because he liked the Beatles? haha
  11:18am
paul:

Did they consider the Clash to be their rivals a la the Beatles and Stones?
  11:21am
MARC:

Malcolm McLeren was great. he did a great version of "Madame Butterfly."
  11:24am
mrmucho:

one thing I always wondered is if Glen played on 'bollocks', how much different would it have sounded? steve jones played some really simplistic bass, but of course it worked in spades
  11:26am
paul:

Rock n Roll Swindle is great!
  11:37am
ChooChoo - ATL:

Mr. Matlock said the "sociopolitical" environment the 1996 Pistols reunion may not have been the same as 1976-77 when they hit. Maybe that has changed. The '76 environment seems more familiar these days with London burning, uncertain economy, etc.
  11:38am
Michael:

Mucho - great question, wish I'd asked it!
  11:59am
fred:

Hey Michael, that Laura Cantrell song reminds me that I first heard about her Kitty Wells record on your show, and I never properly thanked you for that, so: Thank you Michael!
  12:07pm
Harold:

If you're gonna play the Everlys, play some Rockpile, too!
  12:12pm

  12:54pm
ChooChoo - ATL:

"Gunner State Park:" priceless for the chorus!
  12:55pm
Switch from denton:
