The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

  6:09pm
Caryn:

I predict that I cannot come up with a good prediction in the next hour.

glenn:

  6:12pm
G:

it sponsors that ashley-madison cheating site
  6:12pm
Caryn:

Although, considering past experience, I could predict that it is likely that some disaster will occur on my birthday. Fukujima: on my birthday. Madrid train bombings: on my birthday. Various plane crashes, earthquakes and assassinations: on my birthday.
  6:14pm
PMD:

I dont like that it's determined by AP News. what do they know??
  6:16pm
Caryn:

If Andy starts the war with Iran in April, who wins?
  6:16pm
G:

@PMD: not much, other than their specific class prejudices.
  6:16pm
G:

If Iran nukes Andy, who wins?
  6:16pm
kat330:

HNY to anyone I've not typed that to yet! (Like Andy and Danne D)!
  6:17pm
Listener Julian:

Even Ken is sick of this show.
  6:17pm
Danne D:

My guess: Millions of students expelled from school for doing book reports on Rick Santorum
  6:18pm
Danne D:

Google is not your friend, kids

Happy New Year Kat330 :)
  6:18pm
G:

Paul-Palin. Behold the power of alliteration.
  6:19pm
r:

I'd say end of the world, but then I wouldn't get my dollar because the world would be over
  6:20pm
Zerbo:

Wasn't there going to be a contest here tonight?
  6:20pm
Caryn:

@r: and it wouldn't be the news story of the year, because AP and the rest of the world wouldn't be around to declare it so.
  6:21pm
Listener Julian:

Oh my god. Two old men in khaki pants trying to not to pee. Best show idea ever. Eat your heart out, Tom Scharpling.
  6:21pm
rt:

only an hour before? that's no risk
  6:21pm
Matt from Springfield:

"Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale (December 23, 1923 – July 5, 2005)", so he's been lost behind the couch with the loose change and Cheetos for quite some time.

Whoa, his name was "James Bond"??! If he couldn't break out of the prison camp, it looks doubtful the agent James Bond would.
  6:21pm
Danne D:

Careful guys - people have died with similar stunts (for real):

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/hold-your-wee-wii-lawsuit
  6:22pm
Danne D:

Whoa - that's like cosmic timing Ken. I typed that right before you mention it
  6:22pm
Caryn:

holy heck, James Bond Stockdale!?!
  6:22pm
Matt from Springfield:

I would totally listen to that show: "Mayor Bloomberg Is Stuck In A Room with Ken and Andy for One Hour"!!
  6:24pm
Caryn:

@Matt: yeah, that would be awesome. But Bloomberg is so small, he could easily crawl to freedom through the heating ducts.
  6:24pm
G:

@Zerbo: Ken musta checked with Legal.
  6:24pm
kat330:

I see no NY resolutions for kindness...
  6:24pm
Listener Julian:

When Andy says "this system hasn't been updated in 30 years" does he mean WFMU's phones or the "is this me" gag
  6:25pm
Danne D:

I gotta run kids :) Have fun :)
  6:25pm
G:

On grownup shows, the screener comes on and tells the person on hold, "You're next"
  6:25pm
Caryn:

I did once go 3 days without going to the bathroom, but I was sick and totally dehydrated.
  6:27pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

I thought the bathroom contest was tonight, too. So I predict the big banks pull financial shenanigans again like they did a couple of years ago.
  6:27pm
PMD:

Wow Caryn, that's amazing...
  6:28pm
JT:

I predict Pat Robertson will make a prediction. And I predict Harold Camping will make a prediction. Two pre diction intelligences.
  6:28pm
kat330:

It's a safe prediction Mother Nature will wreak revenge somewhere or other.
  6:28pm
G:

@Ken from HP: One good wrongful peeholding death suit would suck up several multiples of the station's annual budget. It seems unlikely that death would ensue from the stunt, but can that risk be run? Obviously not.
  6:29pm
Listener Julian:

What is up with republican kids calling into FMU?
  6:30pm
G:

The pointless prepubescent call. An FMU call-in tradition.
  6:30pm
concerned:

Please ascertain the age of this child
  6:31pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Julian,G: Is the kid Canadian??!
  6:31pm
kat330:

@Julian: Irwin's kin?
  6:31pm
G:

If 7SD is obscene, could having this kid on the phone open things up to child molestation charges?
  6:32pm
Listener Julian:

This show /is/ going great!
  6:33pm
Matt from Springfield:

"This is a new postal location, you might want to write this down..."
  6:34pm
kat330:

Besides North Korea, gotta be some awful Pakistan situation.
  6:35pm
Listener zero:

Eurozone meltdown! Can I send in $5? I don't have any spare $1 ones.
  6:37pm
Caryn:

In the US, you sue the radio station if their show stunt causes a death. In the UK, the wife of the man who died of laughter watching "The Goodies" didn't sue them. Then again, I think that was because the radio station should've done research into the dangers of the stunt. Someone laughing themselves to death is not as predictable.
  6:38pm
Listener zero:

<3 John McCabe
  6:39pm
John McCabe in L.A.:

i'm not sending in my dollar because i don't like the why you guys hung up on me
  6:40pm
Caryn:

A meteorite landed yesterday. Cool videos of the ball of fire streaking through the sky on the news today. Not big news, though. That commercial aircraft better land on something major to become news story no. 1.
  6:40pm
G:

techy
  6:41pm
Matt from Springfield:

I'll get philosophical here: My prediction, is that the print-media heavy Associated Press will fold in 2012, leaving us unable to find a winner for the AP top story of 2012!
  6:41pm
Matt from Springfield:

...not that I would win the pool money, but what an outcome! Somebody had to say it :)
  6:42pm
Listener zero:

On second thought – can I send in €s instead of $s?
  6:42pm
kkk:

Oh, thank you for being so smart. It's cool.
  6:43pm
Caryn:

Well, Matt, the AP would certainly consider their end the biggest news ever, so you would win! Yay!
  6:44pm
Listener zero:

Hey, that guy stole my prediction!
  6:45pm
conrad:

"It's cool to be smart" isn't the classic that "We got Lionels coming out of our ass" is. (Anyone remember that one from last Sept?) Too bad it didn't catch on...
  6:45pm
G:

I am become smart, destroyer of cool.
  6:46pm
Listener zero:

Sam, you malignant, mischievious, monstrous maggot!
  6:46pm
kat330:

When was it cool NOT to be smart? Oh, right, the reign of reality tv....
  6:47pm
Caryn:

And if you're stuck in the desert, it's smart to be cool.
  6:48pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: Just maybe! :)
  6:48pm
Nick Lowe:

Gotta be cool to be kind
  6:48pm
PMD:

@G, that's cool.
  6:48pm
Caryn:

Is Andy admitting that he tried to win the AP thing a few years back by sending his geese to crash into the plane?
  6:49pm
G:

cant put it past him, Caryn
  6:49pm
John McCabe in L.A.:

"it's cool to be smart" sounds like something Neil Cohen would say
  6:50pm
Listener Julian:

All are welcome in the Happiness Hut!
  6:50pm
kat330:

Ah, now need a new theme song -- a new take on Lowe.
  6:50pm
Listener Julian:

It's Cool To Be Smart, with your hosts Bronwyn C. and Clay Pigeon!
  6:50pm
kat330:

That's a happy kid!
  6:51pm
Caryn:

Oh sheesh, if you change your name to that, you're gonna sound like a "The more you know" PSA. Or the lesson of an after-school special.
  6:52pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Julian: That would be a cool mix, and a show worthy of the title!

Now with Ken and Andy it should be "It's Not Cool To Be It's Cool To Be Smart"!!
  6:52pm
JT:

I guess it's hard for Andy since the credits are always at the end of the movies these days... he HAS to wait thru the flick to find out!
  6:53pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

First time caller; long time listener. I can't believe I got through.
  6:54pm
Listener Julian:

The perfect call!
  6:54pm
Caryn:

And soon someone on the comments board will dig up a youtube clip of a Fat Albert cartoon where the point was "it's cool to be smart". Maybe that should be my prediction.
  6:55pm
Matt from Springfield:

Re: Russia-Georgia war: It was a pretty long war, if you're used to the Israeli-Arab wars.
  6:56pm
JT:

"Welcome to Seaworld."
  6:56pm
morr:

end of the world?
  6:56pm
Iran:

@Matt: Our next war with Israel will also be very short. Under ten minutes, we think.
  6:57pm
kat330:

My happy place is floating on Mirror Lake in Yosemite looking up at Half Dome.
  6:57pm
Caryn:

Did Andy tell the Geek Squad that "it's cool to be smart".
  6:57pm
Listener zero:

That guy who stole my Eurozone idea will win, darnit. My only solace: Money will not be worth much by then anymore.
  6:57pm
JT:

End of Seaworld.
  6:58pm
Caryn:

I wasn't smart enough to end my last comment with a question mark. Darn!
  6:58pm
kat330:

Will you be live in the studio next week?
  6:58pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

No hurricane disasters given yet. Lots of cities still available.
  6:59pm
Listener zero:

So, 7SD live detention show on the 11th?
  6:59pm
Listener Julian:

Was Weev trolling Ken?
  7:00pm
Caryn:

Lamin could now call his show Seven Second Delay. But why would he want to?
  7:00pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: And see his numbers PLUMMET? No thanks! :)
  7:00pm
Iran:

He could call it Second Seven Second Delay
  7:01pm
Matt from Springfield:

Have a good night everyone!
  7:03pm
Listener zero:
