  12:26am
Andrew Waterloo:

I'd be asleep but then I realized that I left some bananas thawed on the counter
  12:35am
Dr Drew A Deuce:

Andrew must see to his "banana" before he can get to sleep :-P
  12:36am
Andrew Waterloo:

Yes, cause if I don't take care of the bananas tonight, I don't get no sweet banana bread in the morning
Avatar 12:41am
Therese:

I appreciate your dedication to banana bread, Andrew. There aren't many things better.
  12:41am
Bill S:

Therese, if it's Daylight Savings Time, do i still have to take out the garbage?
Avatar 12:44am
Therese:

Yes, and you have one hour less to do it!
  12:46am
Bill S:

Uh oh. Wait up!
  12:48am
Bill S:

I sse you made your personal goal. That's nice. I know JB was beaming when he made his.

Thank God I survived the disco. High-hat gives me a headache. This is much better!
Avatar 12:54am
Therese:

B, I cannot promise that there will not be more disco in the future. Please have the headache remedy of your choice at the ready.
  12:59am
b:

Had to play too much of it myself on air in the '70s and '80s. Developed an allergy.
  12:59am
Denny Terrio:

DISCO Immmediately, please.
  12:59am
Deepak:

The wag's still wagging unflaggingly on the homepage, even if playlist widgets seem gone now.
  1:20am
Andrew Waterloo:

  1:29am
Bill S:

Hey it disappeared. I had just commented on it.

  1:41am
b:

I blame Benjamin Franklin.
  1:42am
G:

Daylight, save thyself.
Avatar 1:44am
Therese:

Is it Ben Franklin's fault?
  1:47am
G:

Railroads created time zones. The feds created daylight savings on the unproven theory that it saved fuel or resources during World War I. The Germans started it in 1916, and the US was one of the last of the involved countries to follow, in 1918.
Avatar 1:48am
Therese:

You are a valuable source of info, G!
  1:49am
b:

I always heard ol' Ben was the first to propose it.
  1:52am
Bob in DC and/or VA:

That Ben was a troublemaker.

Therese, has anybody mentioned how much that song of yours rocked last week? 'Cause it did.
Avatar 1:53am
Therese:

Thanks, Bob!
  1:55am
G:

While a US diplomat in Paris, Ben recommended that Parisians get up early to take advantage of the morning light. The ones he knew hung out talking in salons till late evening, and they ignored his pushy ass.
  2:04am
Ben P.:

I arrived in New Orleans via Boston yesterday. Didn't know there would be a time change so the daylight savings on top of
that was a real mind blower.
  2:06am
Ben P.:

I'm staying with my aunt who has a Nielson box attached to her TV. Never seen that before. She says she only watches HGTV.
Avatar 2:08am
Therese:

Interesting- the only other person I ever heard of with a Nielson box also lived in New Orleans...
  2:10am
Ben P.:

I informed the Nielson box that I was watching the Aerosmith segment of 60 minutes and a re-run of 30 Rock. I also let the robot device know I was a guest.
  2:11am
b:

You could do your aunt a favor and turn her on to Grimm Fri night on NBC (shameless plug for the only network show I'm watching this year).
  2:12am
Hans:

Ach du lieber!
  2:14am
Harper Valley PTA Responds:

Schlampe!!!
  2:16am
Ben P.:

The Nielson company gives you $100 to install the box in your house.

Therese - Congratulations on the marathon. Every time I listened it seems like you were helping. Great job - thanks!
Avatar 2:18am

Thanks, James! I did take a few days off over the two weeks...
  2:22am
b:

YES!
  2:22am
Bill S:

Friends of mine, brothers, were chosen to be a Nielsen family. They got $4 per TV hooked up, no matter how many. They lived in a small apartment. Their father was TV repair man, he had endless supply. They hooked many TVs! i think it was paying the rent. Looked like PC Richards.
  2:34am
Equipment:

Gotcha!!!
  2:43am
Bill S:

Not to mention starting off the Sinfonia with a wonderful version of "Ladies Who Lunch." Set the bar high, you did.
  2:45am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Remarkable segue from Perfume Genius to Heather Woods Broderick, Therese! Great show!
