  12:34am

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

My brother had a similar phone mishap as yours. He placed it in a bag of rice overnight and that absorbed enough moisture that it continued to work. I don't know how much time passed from *splash* to rice burial so I can't guarantee similar results for your phone. But file the knowledge away should {heaven forbid) it happen again.
  1:27am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

This sounds like it could be a Cure demo.

I tried the rice method, and then I remembered that I sprung for AppleCare, so a new phone is on the way!

While I am not surprised that you know what the Toxic Waltz is I am still elated that you referenced it. :)

The new Paul Williams documentary, Paul Williams Still Alive, is great.

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I need to see that Paul Williams doc. Someone was commenting about it during Julie's show last week. I busted out a pic of my Paul Williams Slurpee cup. Paul wrote or co-wrote most of the songs on "The Muppet Movie" soundtrack. That 8-track didn't leave the player in my family's Datsun for a couple of years.
  2:23am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

One of the places I lived in Seattle was also inhabited by what I've always assumed was one of Matt Groening's relatives. We didn't have individual mail boxes so all mail to the building ended up in a bin in a communal area. Every now and then there would be a piece of mail [usually the size of a VHS tape] addressed to a Groening and with a return address label that featured Simpsons artwork. Yes, I was sometimes tempted to make sure there was nothing harmful in those pieces of mail. But I feared there would be a fate worthy of "Treehouse of Horror" awaiting me.
  2:24am

That was right around the time of the Best Show's Four Loko Christmas episode.
