Mike East:

Hey Michael, I was in the car last week and heard you giving away copy of the Beach Boys record. It was the first time I regretted not having a smartphone so I could've emailed you.

I, also, do not have a cell phone

I saw the BBs at the Beacon Theater in May (I think). First off, Mike Love no longer even pretends to sing. Brian is semi-comatose but still pretty amazing. And he can sing still. I fell in love with the drummer (John Cowsill). Bruce Johnston and Al Jardine were there. I still had a helluva good time and enjoyed the Dennis and Carl tributes.

Mike East:

my boss wants me to get one so I can answer emails 24/7...which I refuse to do unless he's paying for the service plan...more work=more money or else, no dice!
  11:14am
frenchee:

So I guess I'd say, go see 'em. While Brian is with them, while all the olders are playing (oh yeah, that Marks guy you interviewed too).

ChrisB.:

Mike, go see the Boys 6/27 at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel. Way closer.

Jim B:

Two kinds of mothers, Michael: the kind that buys you cool stuff and the kind that throws your cool stuff out.

Heroes and Villains is so good...see the animated video on youtube too.

Blondie sounds like a nice dude. Good questions, MS, and I like that you're respectful (even while trying to dig up the dirt).

Robbie White:

Mike, I saw the Beach Boys Friday night. They played about 35 songs in 3 hours and the show was terrific. I highly recommend that you go see them. Brian didn't look comfortable, but he sounded great.

The Ghost of John Barry:

Okay, so I didn't live twice, but my song sure did! Thanks, BBs -- love that chorus.
