	1:33pm Rev. Turnip Druid: Also, Ike: Geddy's is a seafood/bar place on the main strip in Bar Harbor: a bit of a tourist place (like much in BH) but they had the Cadillac Mtn. Stout on tap when I used to live in Bangor, several years ago. Worth it for the stout. It's effing brilliant.
	1:33pm stefica: Ike, my recommendation is take more than a few days! Also, stay out of Bar Harbor (shudder). Acadia is wonderful and has great phone and internet access up on the Mt. Pemetic (weird). You should spend at least a week in Nova Scotia alone.

	1:55pm stefica: dunno about halifax. i drove the other direction around the lower island and into cape breton and even foolishly thought i had time to see newfoundland (didn't!) and by the time i got to halifax, i was not interested in being in a town. i stopped long enough to find a good bookstore and buy a good book. (The Diviners, Margaret Laurence).
