So asbestos is being scraped up on the floor right above my desk. No dust has shaken into my coffee yet. A little asbestos ingestion just builds character, right?

"i saw in VH1's bands reunited that they got this name by just sitting down in the kitchen and thinking of the stupidest name they could possibly think of. Haircut 100 was the one they laughed at the most, so that was their band name"

- tim: missed it though a bigtime Tolkien fan. Always interesting to me the difference in tone in Hobbit from LoTR - more - Beowulfish or something hard to express - that's not it exactly...
- Oh dear. Why do they think they can write better then Tolkien - ?! I could maybe see relating things that are happening simultaneously before LoTR that aren't in 'The Hobbit' book...

The Hobbit in three parts. Jackson should have filmed The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg.

The Link to Tom Wilson alone is worth worth the entire show!
Thanks!
Common knowledge over here is fragmented.
As far as I know he was more an arranger than a technican, thus letting young Rockers (Zappa, Velvets) do what they want to do in the studio, occasionally showing up in order to introduce his latest party-chicks, so to say.

...I have sometimes thot there's no racist like a British racist - until I consider the American South of course - that pre-Liberated pre-CivilRights early 1960s can be a jolt awlright. There's a particular photo of Townshend standing in front of a Chinese Resturant slanting his eyes that represents that for me...even Python in the later 60s...My understanding is 'Me & My Monkey' was an answer to the Brit Press that called Yoko that - & is a hilarious great masturbation song...
