Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from December 13, 2013 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Bryce, is there a Santa Claus?
Avatar 12:32pm
Richard Nixon:

It is. I actually accidentally killed my little friend. Was cleaning her cage and she got out. She was pretty easy to catch since she's never been able to fly more than a foot or so but she went into shock as I carried her back to her cage. We're very sad in our house. She had many nicknames. 'Twiglet' was my favorite.

Hey Looms, is it as miserable weather over your side of La Manche as it is here?
Avatar 12:46pm

That's it, Brian. The music sounds better, but a little colder as well.

This is the first time I've listened to your show since her death. I could never tell if she loved it or hated it but she was quite vocal about it either way.

Hi Brian! A bit rainy/foggy but not too cold here; and a nice december weather ahead for tomorrow.

I'm not wearing a tie (I don't even own one) but I am dressing for my company's holiday party so I am a bit more dressy than I normally get. And, yes, it does make the music sound better.

I think next week we should all get dressed up for Bryces show. Make it sort of a formal event. It sure makes the music sound better. Any takers?

I know......karkowski's up next.

didn't have time to put together a whole show. next week.

[gets dressed up and tests the theory]
It does make Bryce's sound better, but it's still not classy like A440. Bethany packs more class into one hour than Bryce puts in three hours, even wearing a clip-on tie.
Avatar 1:00pm
Richard Nixon:

Bryce you could do a memorial service for Twiglet and Karkowski. We'll all get dressed up.

My boss seems to be out for the day (hence my commenting without being automatically decapitated), so I guess I *could* get up and move some furniture around. That might also warm me up a bit. But this piece doesn't seem to call for it.

this might be good, this might be bad. perhaps brilliant. i don't know, i have no framework to judge it. it's awfully hard to listen to though.

Avatar 1:29pm
YETI BOB:

ike: i don't think it's supposed to make *you* move furniture around. i think the idea is that you play it loud enough that chunks of plaster start falling from the ceiling, chairs and tables vibrate across the floor, etc.

jamesie: me too.

to my ears, karkowski's music is just beautiful and transcendent. it's meant to be all-consuming. i find myself so quickly drawn in and carried to the along to the center.
