So that one WAS related to that "Da da da" cut from like the 90s. Hah!

@hyde, erm, sorry, here w/b link www.amazon.com... . Out of my 100s of cookbooks, in top 10.

the "Da Da Da" song is by a german band called Trio. It was a Volkswagen commercial that used it.

@Holly thanks! I actually have over $100 in an evil Amazon gift certificate to burn so that's mighty tempting.

Possibly? Peter isn't sure. He says he'd like to know more about it

Peter, which is the politically more conscientious name to use at this point, Myanmar or Burma? My instincts say Burma, but I really have no idea. Can you offer guidance?
Avatar 9:35pm
carol:

this is beautiful! thank you sooo much gary and peter! i'm so glad i got to catch your show :) i gotta get going for tonight though. i'll be back again soon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37pm
Gary:

Peter says: "I'm no expert, but I'm not sure there's a politically correct way to say it. I think both names are potentially contentious. Burma because it only refers to one ethnic group. And Myanmar because the military picked it."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37pm
Gary:

So nice to see you, Carol ... have a great night!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm
Doug Schulkind:

Thanks, Peter. I think I will continue to go with Burma. Whatever ethnic prejudices inherent in that usage, at least it has the sheen of a tolerated ignorance. I find this more palatable than legitimizing the regime.
Avatar 9:44pm
Ike:

I just got here, but I co-sign what Peter said via Gary @9:37. I usually say Burma, but there's no ideal choice from what I understand.
