Hi dave! that clip of Elvis at the very top of the show reminded me that Milton Berle actually seemed to "get" Elvis, he dug what he was doing and especially saw how he connected with an audience.
The opposite of Steve Allen, who just felt the need to fight off rock 'n' roll as hard as he could.
