Coincidentally, I am starting a new book about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It notes how citizens of both cities were puzzled in early-mid 1945 over why they had not been subjected to the same devastation as Tokyo and other cities. Also: Curtis LeMay and Arthur "Bomber" Harris rekindle my belief, or at least hope, that there is a Hell.
