I wonder what the 6 Alice albums worth owning are? Can we opinionate wildly? Love it to the Death at the top and then the two LPs after it...and then what?

Needles and Pins. I thought it was Sonny Bono?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15am
Nate K:

Will, IMHO the first 6 are essential. I like Billion Dollar Babies, I love Easy Action, too. That's just my opinion, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16am
Nate K:

@JohnE you are totally right! Ugh! Brain lapse. Jackie sang it, though.

MAYHEM IN THE A.M.! Just the way I like it!

More opinions! In 1971 Robert Christgau gave HOUSE ON THE HILL a "C" grade, with his usual anti-snoot putdown of anything that resembled what later became known as prog rock. All 4 Audience records are great, and the last album LUNCH has some jaw droppingly superb songs ("Buy Me an Island"!) plus an enchanced horn section (Bobby Keys, Jim Price) that really roared.

Hey, Todd!

@Fred It's pretty solid all over from what I've heard, but diverse, too.
