@Ike: Yeah, as a kid who was never religious but grew up in a kosher neighborhood, the whole idea of tripe grosses me out. That said seeing full beef tongues in shop windows as a kid freaked me out.

Yeah, the occasional lengua taco is delicious, but seeing one in a shop window doesn't sound too appealing. I guess they don't do that anymore? I'm sure I've never seen it.
