Good evening Jesse!
Avatar 7:07pm
Jesse K:

Hey everyone welcome! Is it broken? If not I'll make sure to break it somehow
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm
Doug Schulkind:

This song makes me want to ride a horse.
  7:14pm
Santos L Halper:

If you wanna ride...
Avatar 7:15pm
Carmichael:

There was/is a bluegrass comedy troupe at Disneyland for decades called Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.
  7:16pm
Santos L Halper:

ride the white qwanqwa
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm
Doug Schulkind:

They were way better than Benny Hill and the Hillbennies.
Avatar 7:19pm
Jesse K:

Better than Betty and Barney Hill in the space circus?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm
Doug Schulkind:

No. Way not better.
Avatar 7:21pm
Mayuko:

This Fadimoutou Wallet Inamoud is so so good.
Avatar 7:30pm
Jesse K:

Yeah, I've been trying to play that track for shows and shows now
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm
listener james from westwood:

Some of that old-tyme magic in the playlist, I see.
Avatar 7:34pm
Mayuko:

I was just taking close look at them too, james. I was wondering what is going on in that picture for Ned Rothenberg.
Avatar 7:36pm
Jesse K:

I think that lady is going to get magic-sawed in half.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm
Gary:

Super love for the Aunt Sally / Phew
Avatar 7:38pm
northguineahills:

Is that an orgone accumulator box?
Avatar 7:39pm
northguineahills:

One of my wife's friends just left for India and left me a bunch of Punjabi and Bengali classical cds. I can't wait to listen (will do so after Jesse is done).
Avatar 7:40pm
Jesse K:

Yeah, Orgone runs the internet!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm
listener james from westwood:

That Mills cut was killah!
Avatar 8:01pm
northguineahills:

Sounded nothing like Jeff Mills... Totally dug. As well as this Ecko Show.
  8:10pm
Jeff g.:

I'm not invited?
Avatar 8:10pm
Jesse K:

Jeff, you're always invited!
  8:12pm
Jeff g.:

Oh phew. Otherwise I'm just sitting here eating Cheddar Bunnies™ and waiting for the broccoli to get all steamed.
Avatar 8:14pm
Jesse K:

Do that too, you're actually invited to eat most of that box if you like
  8:15pm
Jeff g.:

{***eating sounds***}
  8:16pm
Jeff g.:

Now I'm thirsty.
Avatar 8:19pm
Jesse K:

That last song was played by hitting little glasses of water. Jaltarang=water wave. Now that they're through and they've been resonated I suppose you can have them.
Avatar 8:47pm
Mayuko:

I like this Machine Codes track a lot. There's something really nice about the 90's electronic music like this and stuff like LFO. I should look into this label.
Avatar 8:50pm
Jesse K:

Diatomyc put out a lot of stuff by Mike Dred, who was Machine Codes and a bunch of other names. I have a lot of homework to do on it too
Avatar 8:54pm
Jesse K:

I photographed these hands at the Musée Mécanique, they're on fortune telling machines
Avatar 8:56pm
Mayuko:

Do you mean you place your hand there and the machine reads it? They don't seem to have scanning function.
Avatar 8:58pm
Jesse K:

I think it's psychokenetic energy or something. Or maybe the machine just spit out a random fortune, it's hard to tell
Avatar 9:02pm
northguineahills:

Wow, I had no idea Bryan started a label (Bunker), I never do late nights any more. Makes sense, as he has worked at various record labels the last 15 years.
Avatar 9:05pm
Jesse K:

Yeah, they have a good couple of releases out now
  9:05pm
Doug Schulkind:

Psychocarnatic. I just felt like saying that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:06pm
listener james from westwood:

All right, folks, bedtime for Bonzo over here. Will catch the remainder in the archives. Thanks, Jesse!
Avatar 9:07pm
Jesse K:

Night James, see you then!
Avatar 9:11pm
Mayuko:

It's pretty fascinating to see all these "magical" machines disguise as science. I guess that would be more convincing to people then. Reminds me of my grandmother who was not interested in learning all the folk remedies and methods from my ancestors at all. Probably washing machine and TV were way more magical to her.
Avatar 9:18pm
Jesse K:

These last couple are Radionic machines: en.wikipedia.org...
  9:18pm
Doug Schulkind:

Sweet dreams, Bonzo!
Avatar 9:19pm
Jesse K:

Night Doug, sleep tight!
Avatar 9:20pm

Good evening.
Avatar 9:21pm
Jesse K:

Evening Ike, you've joined the EBM corner
Avatar 9:22pm

which has been a pretty fun set!
Avatar 9:24pm
northguineahills:

You know, it's taken me 25 years, but I think I finally like Front 242.
Avatar 9:26pm
Jesse K:

haha, welcome!
Avatar 9:28pm
Mayuko:

I wish I was in a bar and dancing to this right now instead of working.
Avatar 9:36pm
Mayuko:

The Japanese Pacific 231 does some fake exotic mondo sort of stuff. I like both Pacific 231s.
Avatar 9:38pm
Jesse K:

This Pacific 231 is from Paris but lives in Ireland and I think it must be a reference, the record is named Aunt Sally afterall
Avatar 9:42pm
Mayuko:

I only knew this Pacific 231 from a compilation with Vox populi. But yah now I see they must have some relationship/reference to Japan like you said.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45pm
Doug Schulkind:

Got early work in the morning. Off to count sheep. Great show, Jesse!
Avatar 9:47pm

Good night, Doug.
