Here in Berkeley there is a complex of apartments called Hillside Village. If I remember correctly, that is how Hillage identifies himself on this album (or maybe it's on Gong's "You").

Speaking of Hillage, a guitarist friend of mine from long ago, Dale Hauskins, was a huge Hillage fan, even traveled from Southern California to London to hang out with him. Later, he joined Switzerland's Flame Dream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2-jG8q96eY Here he sounds more like another of his heroes at the time, Allan Holdsworth, while the band is clearly aping Genesis.
