in this age of austerity when money's being sliced off the welfare budget etc there's suddenly plenty of money for bombs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35am

they're okay with that. it's not their money they're wasting.

JakesGeekMoment™: The new “Star Wars” TV spot for Finn shows him going against some Stormtrooper that has some kind of anti-lightsaber coo-hickey connected to his arm. Boba Fett I can see using that kind of thing, but a plain old Stormtrooper has gear like that? Nope.

Also, if you look closely at the moment when Han Solo asks Finn if he’s ready and he says “Hell no!” you can see Chewbacca has got a new messenger bag/satchel.

Hey Jherweg.... I've been listening to WFMU since 1984, and your show really has that classic free form edge that I think is lacking in many a new nouveau FMU dj... I always look forward to your show, so I can add more weirdness to my digital "collection"! Keep it up, dude!

I probably won't be able to tune in live for the foreseeable future, but I'm really enjoying the archives a LOT! This archive kept me sane on a long long bus ride to the land of Thanksgiving in Boring-Ass Middle of Nowhere, America.
