So I guess the theme is goodbye to 2015 and the blackbird is 2015??

13 ways of listening to a blackbird. I can remember a series of casio keyboards i had as a kid that would play 'bye bye blackbird' as a preset if you punched in the right code

Red wing blackbirds are cool, but the less common yellow headed blackbird is a fine bird as well.

I have no problem with the Justice League convening.

Also, I have to elaborate - I'm speaking about Viking Metal Aquaman - with the long hair and beard and the hook for a hand.

Hugh Glass, the guy from Revenant is illustrated on the album cover of Scissorfight's album "Balls Deep". They also wrote a song called "Stove by Whale" about the Essex disaster, so there are two Scissorfight movies out right now.

Too bad no one has recorded a version with Thomas Pynchon's lyrics: Got a hardon in my fist/don't be pissed/ Re-enlist/ Snap to Slothrop/ Jackson I don't give a fuck/Just give me my Ruptured duck/ Snap to Slothrop/ No one here can love or comprehend me/ They just look for someplace else to send me/ Tap my head and mike my brain/ Stick that needle in my vein/ Slothrop, snap to!

Brooklyn is so huge and varied. Southern Brooklyn has so many people from all over the world -- Mexicans, Uzbeks, Chinese, Russians, Turkish, and many more, and still lots of Italians and some Poles too. Just walking around is always fascinating, but I had to search assiduously to find an affordable apt.
