hey regarding brave new world & 1984; i think we've got both scenarios now. Aldous Huxley is a far more eloquent writer, without question; but i think we're heading more toward 1984, with some key aspects of brave new world as well...particularly in regard to surveillance. (the main difference there is that most people have voluntarily brought the equipment into their homes, and wherever they go- saving the government the trouble and solving the problem of when and how it would be implemented.)

What was the question? I spend the weekdays jacked up on caffeine so I can work at my job. And the weekend is spent jacked up on alcohol so I can forget about the job.

Hi Mr. Jhereg. Just wanna say I'm a long time listener and big-time fan who appreciates your efforts in a major way!

I always listen "archivally" - usually Thursday mornings during work and so I've never been inclined to join the comment board. But I've been wanting to thank you for a long time.

Anyways, I saw the playlist for this show and it totally coincided with the latest issue of Wire magazine that just arrived in the mail with the Bishops on the cover - how perfect.

I wish I had the youthful capacity to stay up all night and listen live, but for now all I can express is deep gratitude for all your life-enriching work!

Blurred and Obscurred Forever!
