Good morning Nate, I'm happy to see you're on the next schedule
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05am
Sem Chumbo:

Good morning, Nate, and Burners all.
Temperature's starting to rise already.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16am
Nate K.:

Morning, everybody. Easing into it this Sunday.

ZZ Top for president! (WB promo from the 80s--I have the bumper sticker!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34am
fred:

@Will: I still regret not getting the Cthulhu for president T-shirt I once saw in the late 80's
  6:35am
Will:

Now we've actually got Cthulhu running for president....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38am
Nate K.:

@Will, I'd vote for ZZ Top, but it has to be all three of them collectively.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:41am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...you sure you got enuff fuel to burn @ the rate of this set man?!...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:41am
fred:

Beard being the only one without one does make them a viable political candidate
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...after going to Rusk for the Criminally Insane - I think the least this Nation could do would be to give Roky a cabinet position...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

(...Minister of Elevation presumably...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54am
fred:

@RRN63: speaking of elevation, isn't it early for you to be vertical?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54am
Nate K.:

This Crap Detectors track is defiantly lo-fi.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59am
fred:

We now hear lo-fi as defiant, because we're spoiled, but it probably wasn't recorded as defiant, just broke
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

George Carlin routine: I'm a Modern Man!...I'm electively LoFi, vertically off-time...I'm on the Summer Schedule - I'm renewed, pre-chewed, choosing my breakfast food, comments board rude & Rawkin' the TexMex Blooz...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17am
fred:

Many people now hear mp3 as better then real. Patents for it are still valid in the US. A coworker says Apple's Retina looks better than what his eyes see. Patents for that are going to last a long time
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36am
Nate K.:

@Revo, I like it. We should use it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38am
Nate K.:

@Fred, True re: the Crap Ds. But I know that that dude was a serious outsider head, too. So he probably didn't care either way. That would be my guess at least. I prefer a "lower fidelity" myself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47am
fred:

Some say the live experience is the only truth, some say lo-fi, some say studio work is necessary. To each his own, there's no truth there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

In the end - every Medium has its' own characteristics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...'Medium' implies there is something between you & the Thing...

Will:

Inertia: A radio show in motion tends to stay in motion. Here we have seen an example of this principle.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:55am
Guido from Cologne:

We ThePeople, great band.
Guess this was their first 45.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56am
Guido from Cologne:

There's no truth, just perception.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- even our senses, perceptions & memories are a 'Medium'...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:58am
fred:

@RRN63: you're right, some want to control that, some choose not to care, some ignore it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03am
fred:

@RRN63: my left ear just doesn't work, so headphones don't do it for me. I guess the mono years would have made me feel more normal, but I like today
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

@fred: You & Brian Wilson I guess - good company.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am
Mike Sin:

I'm enjoying this show and I'm rockin'... in my punk-rock pajamas and slippers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56am
Sem Chumbo:

I am cinder-ized following this show, burnt down and out. Thanks, Nate, looking for the next time you alight here on the Fun 91. Later:-D
