So can I just get a bowl of soup and some bread, please.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:32am
Brian in UK:

Charlie Watts is 75 years old today.

Finally got a diagnosis for the permanent pins and needles in my left index finger. The Physio said it is Golfers Elbow. I asked her if I would be able to play golf when it was better. She said yes. That's great 'cause I could never play before.

I love today's show just by the title already.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:36am

Looks like I'll be able to see the entire movie this time. Got no place to be before 2 and I brought my lunch. Mac, just because you aren't on the adoption roster any more, don't think that I've stopped keeping an eye on you.

We have a seafood company here, whose spokes-salt was Captain Highliner.
Needless to say, there are plenty of japes at his expense. Stop me if you heard this one: "So, BIlly, have ye ever been blown ashore?"

Something you played was, or included, the "My God, they've shot him!" line from the football game in the movie version of M*A*S*H. The line I posted is the follow up line. Try to keep up here, Mac, we've got a lot of ground to cover.

Bill you said that you were reading. Just in the middle of Elmore Leonard's Complete Western Stories.Thirty of 'em. Great read, plotting. morality and sense of place and time.

Westerns huh? I need an inspirational read in order to kickstart my writing

Sem, you got it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm
Sem Chumbo:

Brian: might be tough to find this guy, but here's a recommendation:
"Nobody writes a better crime novel," Elmore Leonard said of Willeford.

Charles Willeford, the Hoke Mosely books, genre-defying, only tangentially crime novels.
Avatar 1:44pm
ndbob:

Indeed Sem - the Willeford books are great
