Mr. Superlungs!

JakeGould:

So will your vacation be at a “Honky Chateau,” Therese?
Avatar 1:26am
Therese:

Hmm... not a Chateau so much as a Cottage?
  1:28am
JakeGould:

Is a cottage lesser than a bungalow?
  1:30am
JakeGould:

Because a chateau is like on a hillside or the top of a cliff/mountain or something… I know that much!
Avatar 1:31am
Therese:

I think bungalow is also an apt description.
  1:32am
JakeGould:

Yeah, cottages are in the woods and are made to lure small, fat Eastern European kids.

Ken From Hyde Park:

The vacation accommodations rankings go something like this:
Chateau > Lodge > Inn > Hotel > Motel > Bed & Breakfast > Bungalow > Cottage > Abandoned warehouse > Tent > Car Camping > Under the stars

Where does "Relative with a Pool Sort of Close to a Place of Interest" fit?
  1:55am
JakeGould:

I would say that is between a bed and breakfast and a bungalow.

P-90:

Is "Savak" named for the Star Trek character? Seems likely. If for some reason they named themselves for the old Iranian secret police force, they probably would have used all caps, because SAVAK is an acronym and always spelled that way. Or maybe they just named themselves after someone's pet cat. Who had a Vulcan name...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:05am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Well, going by the standard comfort / cost ratio, it ought to rank pretty high. The fact that that they have a pool ups the ranking, too. I'd place it between motel & hotel. Years ago, I went all over the country hitting up relatives for a place to stay.
Avatar 2:08am
Therese:

P-90: That occurred to me, but the Star Trek character's name was spelled Saavik, so I'm not sure...

Hey Therese, enjoying the show

Thanks, Joe!

P-90:

In my sleep-deprived state, I think i conflated "Saavik" with Spock's father, "Sarek." So ignore me... Unless they did have a "Savak" on a Deep,Space Nine episode or something...

What about Savarin Coffee?

Thanks, Therese. Have a super vacation at the pool! Watch out for sunburn.
