Is Donald Trump stupid? Someone should constantly remind me with endless blog and social media posts or else I’m going to vote for him come the fall.

Sounds great...Coincidentally, I was just thinking today about how much I liked Blurred & Obscured about two hours ago (while sitting in a cafe playing horrible music), so what a treat to tune in and hear you filling in! Maybe my ears have been spoiled by WFMU.

Hello!

Sounds great. I'm listening off my laptop so there's no loss (or gain) in quality. Perfection.
  12:28am
number 6:

Twice this week in two different cafes (other than the one I was in tonight) I heard that awful Fun song that keeps repeating "Carry on." I actually didn't know what it was, since I don't listen to much Top 40 music, until hearing it the 2nd time and Googling it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it out of my head. What's wrong with cafes these days?

Thanks 6. i'll check it out - but i'm pretty sure i want the album anyway. (and one of the features of MY antique computer is that i cannot watch videos; or even gifs, if there's a few on one page...so i'll have to wait.)

...i think it's possible that if you're up beyond when your body needs sleep you're running on "nervous energy".(in other words, more adrenaline) - and you may be unconsciously grinding your teeth a little as a result.
...that's my theory.

Kawabata Makoto's a pretty impressive guitarist, I bet he'd get bored if they just used samples.

That Rock Critics piece was mighty tasty. The cassette comp it's on looks amazing: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Sensationnel-No-1/release/716524
  2:34am
Dan M:

Yeah, @Popsicle I think they're great fun to see live, it's normally three or so crazy japanese old men, lots of improvisation and trying to knock each other off center and the recover the song. They always seem to have a blast on stage. Highly recommended live band. They're recordings seldom live up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38am
fred:

@Dan: Did you see one of the "Japanese new music festival" tours? Lots of fun
  2:42am

Great show!
  2:43am
ice in bklyn:

Erick's, ie Creamo . Last weeks set was really quite good.
  2:45am
Dan M:

@fred No, that does sound great! I'm out in Oakland CA now, last time I saw AMT was in Boston last year. I'll have to google it though and see if any of those japanese new music shows are out here that sounds pretty good. Got a ticket to Cornelius later this year though, he's doing a reprise of Fantasma. I only recently rediscovered how much I love all that japanese stuff I used to listen to :)
  2:46am
Dan M:

Also echoing thanks to the DJ, very cool show. Glad I tuned in tonight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48am
fred:

@Dan: It's basically two of the AMT guys with the drummer from Ruins doing short solo, duo and trio sets. All over the map and very fun
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49am
fred:

Thanks Jonathan! (I never thought I'd hear you play Oasis)
  2:50am
Dan M:

@fred man, that sounds right up my alley, thanks for the recommendation, I'm gonna have to check that out!
