I think you're the only person not named Doug to play that hep Larry Brown track....

So Funky - damn, to be included among the Dougs is an honor

It's supposed to be 66° up here in NJ tomorrow. Hoping it results in a healthy turnout. We've got some interestingly close local races and two fairly important public questions to decide.

I think we have a call for rain in the late afternoon - which is a bit worrisome. No referendums on the ballot but I do need to vote against Rand Paul - aka Aqua Buddah.

I voted two weeks ago.... here in FL. 16 years ago I moved from FL to NYC in late August, almost 16 years to the day I moved back to FL. At least my vote is more likely to make a difference here. The Jacksonville Times-Union is only the second regional/metro paper in the US (that I've noticed) to back Trump. It's weird down here.

Never heard anything from this Ayler record, only read about it.

>Aqua Buddah: sounds like something this Ayler album title could describe...

Haha! It is a pretty kooky record by Alyer standards - but one I have come to enjoy over time. New Generation in all its gospel glory is a stand out.

Hi! Oh wow, cool, people actually talking politics on the comments. @NGH, glad to see that Puerto Ricans have been moving there and are really turning out in early voting. They may single-handedly save us all from Cheeto Mussolini.

Recorded in 1968 for Blue Note - a label I never would expect to pick up something like so spiritual and forward
