I heard the singer from Skid Row on NPR this morning. Weird interview. He was plugging his book. I'm not so sure about NPR anymore. Not that I was ever totally sure, it just seems to be in a downward out-of-control spiral.

I looked up track info for "I'm A Freak Baby" and it says that "Green Manalishi" was taken from a 7-inch single. I didn't see anything indicating if the mix was different from an album version.

I noticed that there's a band on that compilation called The Iron Maiden that is not the NWOBHM band. There's also a band called Velvett Fogg that has nothing to do with Mel Torme. But Tony Iommi was a member prior to his forming Black Sabbath.
