This is an awesome set.

"Autopsy" might be my favorite Sandy Denny song.

Love Hutcherson. But I love vibes.

Oh, and I love Laura Nyro covers!
Avatar 8:20pm
Scraps:

Boy, in the late sixties, no songwriter was covered more than Nyro, except maybe Randy Newman.

Well, and the Beatles.
Avatar 8:22pm
Scraps:

And the original Hello It's Me!

Thank you thank you
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm
KimSorise:

Yes, both Nero & Newman for sure. At some point I decided that the Beatles don't always count... or they'd win everything. Everything as in this first release of Hello, it's me.... dang.

Scraps:

I've never heard this Badfinger cover. Nice. It's hard to screw up Baby Blue
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm
KimSorise:

This was a Pete Hamm piece. Not a cover - just the same name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
listener james from westwood:

Well used in "Breaking Bad."

Great show!

listener james from westwood:

Still remember Paul Williams's stint on The Muppet Show. Of course they had a bit where some of the huger monsters on the show came out and made him look even tinier. Jim Henson did have a wicked sense of humor.

This was an awesome show.

Thank you so much! I had fun tonight and even a bit choked up at points... I plan nothing but the first song and go from there. AND jeez, do I love Paul Williams on the mUppets but Phantom of the Paradise is my favorite
