Favoriting February 8, 2017: The Best Guitar Solo of All Time

Listen to this show: Pop-up listen Pop-up player!

On today's show, Andy has a case of the yawns, and Ken has the stomach flu. But that can't stop them as they power through, holding a contest to determine the best guitar solo of all time! The winner of the contest gets a $20 gift certificate to Burger King. The list of nominees are:

The Allman Brothers - Blue Sky
Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Bill Haley - Rock Around the Clock
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
Elvis Presley - Hound Dog
Neil Young - Cinnamon Girl
Richard Hell and the Voidoids - Blank Generation
Sister Rosetta Tharpe - Strange Things Are Happening

During the show, people vote online for their favorite solo. In addition, many more suggestions are made by callers, several of whom sing along to their favorite solos.

Also, Andy serves up a classic zinger-pun. Multiple callers confess to have dreams about Andy, leading to the creation of the "Dreaming About Andy Hotline". And Death Talk: Which is more scary? Is it the nothingness or the pain of dying?

The show ends with a very odd demonstration of Andy's inability to identify a single note as a single note.
