	7:52am dale: they use tv reception dongles and rejigger them somehow to receive that part of the spectrum. i have the basic one that gets fm and vhf like aircraft and taxis and police. you have to buy an upconverter to make it get shortwave. noo elec is the brand everyone uses and sdr sharp is the program. for shortwave you need the dongle, upconverter, antenna connector and the program.

	7:52am dale: they use tv reception dongles and rejigger them somehow to receive that part of the spectrum. i have the basic one that gets fm and vhf like aircraft and taxis and police. you have to buy an upconverter to make it get shortwave. noo elec is the brand everyone uses and sdr sharp is the program. for shortwave you need the dongle, upconverter, antenna connector and the program.
