	8:23pm pacific standard simon: I like Neil Diamond's version of "I'm A Believer" quite a lot. The arrangement is clearly based on the Monkees version, or maybe it's the other way around, but it's less pop-y and more rock-y.

	8:32pm pacific standard simon: Whem I heard "Satisfaction Guarenteed" start from the next room, I thought it was a cover of "TV Eye".
	8:35pm Richard.Whig: Maybe TV Eye was inspired by satisfaction guaranteed? Or they both drew from the same inspiration?
	8:37pm Richard.Whig: There are a couple of songs that I wonder where they drew common inspiration from because I don't think either headed the other....Project Blue by the Banshees and I Must Be Mad by the Craig for example.
	8:44pm pacific standard simon: In the case of "Satisfaction Guaranteed" vs "TV Eye", I think it's just something in the fingers and the fretboard of any guitar player -- certain riffs are going to recurr eventually. I might think otherwise if Mourning Reign was a Detroit band.
