Orson Welles - If he only had read Criswell's prediction at the beginning of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE, it would have been a blockbuster!

Working on an onkyo-inspired composition and found a gig-gig here next month. Didn't know there was an audience for this before I moved here.

I've met WvS once, and Dok let me stay over after a gig when I was splitting from the missus. Good company.

@Henry: I have to research all the cross references between Plan 9, Plan 23, Orson W, and Criswell. So thanks for the assignment!

Amen, David.

it seems like Plan 23 is from Earth, but what do I know?
Avatar 3:28pm
northguineahills:

Crap, gotta go back to work, gonna miss most of NNBB.
Avatar 3:35pm
northguineahills:

I went to a NNBB in 2004 and they had each member in a different room of this former office building in Wiliamsburg on S 4th. That was a fun show, fully stained glass pyjamas.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm
Webhamster Henry:

@David when the drummer stream goes into shuffle mode, I sometimes fire up Archive.org's old radio section and binge listen to old Mercury Theatre shows.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
Stanley:

No Neck? Doesn't like there's much blues here either.
Nice set, though.
Hi David and all.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:46pm
weinstein:

I would like to spend more hours listening to that old radio drama stuff.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:47pm
weinstein:

Hey Stanley. They wander into blues territory now and then but this set seems more Ram Dass.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm
Stanley:

.... is that the sound of his followers in the background?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm
doctorjazz:

This No Neck Blues Band track great! (I suspect the blues part of the name is ironic).

Friendly Ghost:

I'm interested in this "David Nuss"
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:51pm
weinstein:

But they are damn serious about the "no neck" part!
  3:51pm
Friendly Ghost:

I met Keith Connolly once he was saltier than an everything bagel. I enjoyed each minute of our conversation. He was wearing a kangol and tinted sunglasses indoors.
